Hey guys, today we are doing the Nope Trope created by one of my faves and one of the many people that I adore that also share my name in the bookworld, ZoesAllBooked. I will link her video here. But let's get to it.
1. Eavesdropping w/ miscommunication - Name a book you heard great things about and expected to love but ended up hating. Aristotle and Dante. I just couldn’t get into it and it wasn’t for me honestly. 2. Love Triangles - Name a series where you can't pick your favorite book. Renegades by Marissa Meyer. That series was amazing and just had a lot of fun with all the twists and turns. 3. Not Like Other Girls/Didn't Know I'm Beautiful - Name a book that has a pretty cover but was boring as all hell. The wicked cometh by Laura Carlin. I don’t even remember what it’s about but look at the cover though. That’s what initially attracted me to the book after all 4. All-Consuming Love - Name a book that gave you a book hangover. Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron. Firstly, the story was absolutely bloody amazing and second, the arc cover is gorgeous. 5. Douchebag Boyfriend - Name a book that took you a while to get into, but you ended up loving. The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh. It wasn’t too great to get into but the ending was brilliant and the second book was even better than the first. So overall I’m happy with it. 6. Tell us your favorite or least favorite trope! Favourite trope is probably enemies to lovers. Least favourite would be the saviour trope. Honestly, it’s over used and is boring at this point.
